Originally from Winston-Salem and Birmingham, Dr. Carter received his undergraduate degree from St. Johns College in Annapolis and his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at National Capital Consortium in Washington, D.C. Dr. Carter served a one-year deployment to Diyala Province, Iraq with 3d BCT, 3d ID as a battalion surgeon, and is married to Dr. Nicole Carter. He sees patients in Opelika and Auburn.
